Coastal Carolina Curling Club

Wilmington, NC

Coastal Carolina Curling Club was established to develop and promote the Sport of Curling in Southeastern North Carolina.  Our goal is to engage amateur athletes, both beginner and advanced, young and old, in this historic game, and enable them to compete on a regional, national, and international level.

Our Club is welcoming new curlers. We have curlers of all ages and skill levels, from basic beginners to the highly experienced.

The best way for brand new curlers to acquaint themselves with the sport and get started with the club is to attend one of our "Learn to Curl" sessions, held periodically throughout the year. We are happy, however, to have  anyone come and give curling a try at any of our regular scheduled open curling sessions.

Visiting curlers are also more than welcome to come and join us at the Wilmington Ice House.

Our next Learn to Curl will be this summer at the Wilmington Ice House.  Check back for the date and time.  Come join us and give Curling a try!

Though the exact origins of the sport of Curling may be clouded in a "wee Scottish mist", there is no doubt that it's future is bright. With the formation of the Coastal Carolina Curling Club, we are excited to participate in the nationwide expansion of this historic game. In the grand traditions of the old 16th century Scots, we meet on the ice for fun and friendly competition, put aside the struggles of everyday life, and enjoy a social gathering after the game to  revel in our efforts. So gather yourself and come give it a try! You may find yourself enamored with all the game has to offer. I hope to see you on the ice soon, and,

Good Curling...
